In April of 2004 Don Sichling and Aaron Straker began A Plus Limousine’s first class service. It all started with one limousine that actually was bought for personal service. Don rented a limousine once a week from other limousine company’s in the area. He couldn’t find a limousine company that would give him the service he wanted and paid for. He would rent limousines that would show up late, they wouldn’t have the beverage he requested to have in the car, or the car was dirty inside and out. That’s when he decided just to buy a limousine for his personal use. The gentleman he made an agreement with to buy his eight passenger limousine didn’t seem to respond to his purchase, so he went on-line and purchased a different car. On their way to Detroit to pick up the six passenger limousine, Don received a phone call from the original sale, saying that the limousine was ready to go. Being the business man he is, he decided to hold true to his word. Standing in the shop the next day looking at two limousine’s instead of one, Aaron looked at Don said, “Well, do you want to start a company!”
A Plus Limousine originally had his office in Highland Indiana, but later Don and Aaron decided they needed a bigger building so they moved to Griffith Indiana. There, they could keep the limousines inside the building. Business seemed to be going really well from day one. They had satisfied customers because they were getting the service the industry seemed to be missing. They made sure every chauffeur was fifteen minutes early to every event, the cars were spotless, and if the client requested something it was done. Today they have the same reputation as they did back then, only better. A Plus Limousine makes sure that customer service is number one. No matter what it takes. They, along with Don’s wife Michelle work 24 hours a day to make sure business is handled properly. They refuse to hire any one else to answer the phone, so they know their clients are taken care of with A+ care.
A couple of months went by and they were getting a lot of requests for a bigger limousine, so A Plus Limousine decided to purchase a fourteen passenger limousine. Business continued to grow and in October of 2004 they decided to start customizing the cars. They spent relentless hours on the eight passenger limousine, adding features like: a fog machine, a disco ball, bar strobes, CD player, DVD player, and laser light shows. They also pulled both the bars out of the six passenger car and rebuilt them, making the car look brand new. In December of 2005, they began revamping the fourteen passenger limo. Two months, and six thousand dollars later, they ended up with one of the most exquisite limousine’s ever built, featuring: brand new black leather seats, new carpeting, four refinished bars, a laser light show, a fog machine, two glowing disco balls, strobes under the bar and throughout the whole interior, a hands-free intercom system, custom stereo equipment with CD, a DVD player for all four TV’s, XM radio, new fiber optics throughout the entire limousine, a new full size fiber optic mirror that covers the entire limousine, and different colored backgrounds for each mirrored bar.
A Plus Limousine now has two cars (they sold the three older ones). Don and Aaron made their latest purchase in February of 2008. They flew to Los Angelas to pick up their first SUV Hummer Limousine. Today business is booming, and they look forward to several weddings they will be chauffeuring, all the great concert events coming up, hundreds of airport runs, and all the charters, and your call saying you’re ready to get the service and style you deserve. The company’s motto is “On Time, Every Time,” and we stand strong and true to that. Coming soon to A Plus, will be a new 8-10 passenger limousine.
